Our breeding program started out with some excellent bloodlines from Springset and Belmore, but over the years Melrose has become prominent in our pedigrees.

Breeding Gordons has been a challenge, more than most pointing breeds. The size of our dogs range from 40 to 55 lbs. with most around 45-50 lbs. Coats are short to medium length. Temperament is kind and easy going with remarkable intelligence.

Our Gordons have excellent noses, scenting ability has always been a strong trait for Gordons in general, but what sets my Gordons above others is their tremendous desire (birdyness) and style that I breed into my setters.

Hunting with a bird dog that is athletic, stylish and very animated in the field is what makes for a good day in the field.
